Tony Dahl
Currently seeking Human Resources roles in San Diego or hybrid environments
Hey there—I’m Tony, a human resources professional with over three years of hands-on HR experience, most coming from my time with Colorado Network Staffing. In this role, I managed core HR operations, staffing coordination, and workforce support across multiple client environments.
My work centered on employee lifecycle processes, workforce coordination, and day-to-day operational support, giving me a practical, ground-level understanding of how HR teams function and how people decisions directly influence organizational performance.
I hold an undergraduate degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, where my academic focus aligned closely with human resources and organizational operations. My studies emphasized workplace communication, organizational behavior, collaboration, process effectiveness, and productivity, along with advanced writing, presentations, and stakeholder communication. This foundation shaped my ability to translate complex people data and HR insights into clear, actionable narratives that support leaders and employees alike.
In addition to my HR background, I have worked in remote marketing and analytics roles that strengthened my data analysis, reporting, and business insight skills. These roles allowed me to apply analytical thinking to workforce-related questions such as engagement trends, performance indicators, and operational efficiency. Rather than pulling me away from HR, this experience sharpened my ability to approach human resources challenges with a data-driven mindset.
I have recently relocated to San Diego on a permanent basis to refocus my career fully on human resources. I am actively completing professional certifications including the SHRM-CP, PHRca (California HR Law), and a People Analytics certification, reinforcing my commitment to HR best practices, compliance, and evidence-based decision-making.
I am seeking to join a collaborative HR team where I can contribute immediately, continue growing professionally, and help organizations make smarter, more human-centered workforce decisions.
